Default 1973 vette hood

I bought a 73 basket case about a year and half ago. I have been putting it back together and can't get the hood to set right. I found signs on the left front, fiberglass that indicates this car was in a wreck, no frame damage. I starting to think I do not have the original hood.

I am hoping that someone out there with a 1973 Corvette with the original hood could give me the dimensions from front to back at the middle and at the side.

Maybe I'm wrong but it seems that the 73 hood will only fit a 73 or 74 and the dimensions change for 75 or 76 and then again in 77, but all appear the same in photos. What do you think? Am I way off track with this?
Any help would be greatly appreciated

I just checked an old "motor" crash book from our old body shop.(gives factory part #'s) Sorry, its not old enough to go all the way back to pre-'73, but i will say that they listed the same gm part# (327684) for the hood from '73-'75. '76 was a different part# (362941), then they carried the same part# (472799) '77-'79. I know i'm not giving you dimensions like you asked for, but hope this helps a bit on which factory hoods can be swapped out.
