Default And yet another newbie.....

Hello everyone,

After watching for awhile, figured it's time to participate. My Name is Corey Mayo, I have a 74 stingray w t/tops I have been rebuilding since 11/98. This is my second vette, should have never gotten rid of my 1st one, but my dad wanted it, I wanted this yellow one, and we worked out something to make both of us happy. Mine is finally coming along, better than what it was anyway. I wasn't going to rebuild it at first. One thing led to another, and I am just about ready to take the body off now, just waiting for my attic to cool down a little more......so I can set up my hoist system to put the 95 Corvette LT1 and 6 speed in it(being located right now, possibly 8 wks),hehehe..

Anyways, I like what I see here, and I will have many questions as time goes by for everyone, and maybe even be able to contribute along the way!

See ya,
CM

74 Stingray t/tops 350/400 very very red, he's almost through with everything , it really only needed a rear bumper, seats and other misc interior items to be a great running/looking car

I just had to have yellow, plus it had the the Hooker sidepipes

I'm in Fort Worth also and would like to offer another pair of hands if you need any help. I'm going to be heading down the rebuild path eventually and any help I can exchange for gaining free knowledge sounds like a good trade to me . . .

Send me an e:mail if your interested.

74-Roadster,

Sounds good to me, especially when that motor arrives, hehehe......I'm good with electronics, not so good on hoppin up an engine. My work email's down now, but I can email you when I get home later this evening.

Your car looks great! Makes me wish I had a droptop.
