I'm having my frame on a 77 sandblasted and treated, however, the body mount brackets(the two most forward and the two most rear) are rotted out. I have the metal to replace them but I don't have the info to postion the holes. Can anybody out there that has the body of their frame take a few measurements for me. I need to know the correct size of the hole and distance from the frame and sides of the braket. Thanks guys. :smash:
I could give you the measurements of my 76, but because I live in Austria I would give you the measures in metric mm.
25,4mm are equal to 1 ".
Oh! wait a moment.
I just remembered that I´ve got a book at home in which the measurements are listed. (in inch) If you are patient I can give you the measurements tomorrow.
I´m in the office right now...
I have exactly the same problem and I am at that point right now!!!!
I also need the exact center point from the frame rail measurement so I can weld up some new metal on the #1 and #4 mounts! What book do you have that gives this info? My 76 AIM Does not list this as I recall.
OK, guys!
Didn´t forget about your problem :D
Unfortunately our forumserver isn´t able to upload files at the moment, so I put the file on geocities. Sometimes it works, sometimes not.
I´d say let´s give it a try.....
