i have an l-82 small block, with stock cylinder heads. i installed a 224/234 cam, edelbrock 750 cfm carb and performer manifold. i am guessing my compression is atleast ~9.5:1 because it has been rebuilt.
what type of heads should i be looking at to get much greater performance than i have now?
lots of people on here love AFR however Pro Toplines are also very good and cost less, the catch is Pro Topline is out of business so you have to get them through shaver racing on the west coast they have chinese copies i believe.
Any modern combustion chamber head with 64cc chambers 170
to 180 runners. 202/160 valves.
Some of us are running iron DART Iron Eagle 180's with 64cc cambers with good results. Of course the top end of the engine got's to match the bottem end and you've got to have your overall end game in mind as to what you're trying to acheive.
I Don't Know Much About The Heads But Your 76 Looks Great With The Side Pipes. Were They Hard To Put On? I Also Have A 76 And Have Thought About Installing Them.
