C3 Steering Wheels
Picture this if you will:
You are at a Corvette show and there are a half a dozen C3 steering wheels on a vendor's table. How can you tell the real new GM from the reproduction, the one made in China, the recovered GM, and the one made out of chrome chain (Just kidding on that one.) Basically, how can you tell a real one from anything else?

I would guess a great used OEM C3 steering wheel would be worth about $100, the same price as a new black leather look alike. I see a number of great used reproductions for $50-$70.
I am still looking for a way to tell one from another. I know there is another great show coming up about the middle of January and they always have a large number of vendors. I would just like to find the way to tell one from another and to pay the right price for the right wheel when used. When they are new, the choice is easy.
