Engine/ Distributor/ firewall clearnce measur

I've got my body off on the 73. May move the engine back 1-1/4". Need to make some changes before I paint the frame. Can someone check the distributor/ s.b. engine/ bellhousing, etc. clearance on a 73 & tell me if this will clear? Thanks...( i believe this is doable w/o major changes)

From: I tend to be leery of any guy who doesn't own a chainsaw or a handgun.

It's been a few weeks since I measured mine (big block), but I'm entertaining the idea of moving mine back a touch when I get through with the other frame mods. Keep us updated!

Looks alittle too close for comfort to me. I don't think there is an extra inch there without cutting into the firewall or ditching the wiper motor. There is just over one inch clearance.
