Default Crate motor recommendation

I had read a thread here about a member having problems with a Year One motor and these guys from Derebery Performance who build engines for Year One traveled a hundred miles to his house to fix the motor and I thought that was some good customer service. So I decided to buy from them, it was a 3 hour trip each way to their shop. When I arrived my motor was on the dyno, they installed and adjusted my carb and dist. fired the motor up and I watched them dyno the motor which put out the advertised 400 HP. Then they tweaked my carb and dist and each time they ran the dyno again to see any improvements. Then we tried different carbs, each time a dyno was run to see which combo worked best. They showed me how they build the engines, showed me some of thier race engines. Outstanding support.
