OK guys I'm looking for the "lower bumper extension" that sits below the front bumper and gets air from the airdam and directs it through the radiator. I can get the fiberglass unit from Eklers and MA but they no longer carry the one made of the "rubberized plastic". Anyone know of a supplier or manufacturer of the part in plastic (as opposed to glass?)
Thanks in advance

Reason: better description
Carl,
I recently purchased a spoiler for my '74 L82 from Bair's and was most pleased with their prices, service and product. Not sure what you mean by "air box" though, unless you mean the spoiler or "Lower Valance Panel." It's the spoiler that "directs" incoming air up through the radiator via large holes in the valance panel.
If this is not what you mean, can you please elaborate?
The original lower bumper extension on my car was polyurethane. I replaced with a fiberglass one because the poly extension sagged and had lost its shape.

Are you talking about an 81? My 79 had what they call a chin spoiler. I attached a 8 inch hard rubber piece which made it about 6 inches lower than stock. The idea isn't so much forcing more air through the radiator, but creating a negative air pressure behind the radiator to draw more air through.
My 81 Daytona TT has way to much air coming in and creates an air wall behind the radiator. putting a chin spoiler proved to be the most effective cure to heating up at high speed.

Yup thats it - the lower bumper extension - we scrape it on the ground every now and then - so we want the polyurethane set-up - anyone know where we can find one!

How does this "rolled plastic" stuff work? does it hold it's shape? do you hit it with a hair dryer to get it to keep form? this opens up all sorts of possibilities!

I'm still working with it... It is usually pop riveted in place ore to a alloy frame...
I used haybine/baler belting form the local tractor supply house... comes in 4" and 12" widths...
