Floor Carpets ( while were on it )
Hey Gang;
I got my carpets installed and got my baby back today, ( It took Two days ) a place called "Auto - Art" here in Baltimore, Maryland. on the east coast.
It's cost was $350.00 for the labor for the install and including the door panel strips, It looks great! I bought the pieces from Mid - America and the installer said it went in without a hitch. Everything was fitted as it should be.
I have a red '73 with a Medium Saddle Interior, and everything matched perfectly. My kudos to Mid America, that stuff is the #1, in my book, it even matched the 29 year old stuff that's in there. It even seemed to bring out the old glow of the original stuff that's still on the rear interior of the car.
It was a breeze 'cause I didn't have to get in there and do it myself, I attempted a start I got two screws out of the passenger's seat and almost got my legs run over, then I decieded to give it to a pro', I would pay the price again if I did it over, and I can use a vucuum on it with out pulling it up and I'm a happy camper here !!

That is great..I did every stitch of carpet in my car...Hand cut and it took about 5 to 6 hours Cost 65 bucks and a 12 pack of Guiness that is Including Carpet and Pad...Of course it was my sweat fortunately no blood or tears :cheers:
