Buying a correct year block question
When buying the correct years block for your vette does the date code have to be 3 months or less prior to your build date? Can it be within 6 months prior or within the same year and past the build date? ie.. If I have a second month 68 car can I purchase a 8/24/67 block or a block built later in 68?

NCRS specs are 6 months or less previous to build date. That said it would be nice to be 1 to 3 months prior. My original 72 was cast 2 1/2 months before car assembly date
