A Funny Story.........
Hi Guys;
We have all had a friend/aquaintance like this, Just after you buy something like a car, he will come up and tell you what a deal "HE" could have got for you.
Cool;........ This guy after bothering some of us for awhile and we decided to reverse the charges, It seems he needed a vehicle and went out and bought one, naturally it was the best thing one that money could buy and he paid next to nothing for it, A hell of A deal as always, and one that only HE could get........
Soooooo...... in the middle of the night, my friend and I would sneak up on his new found miricle on wheels, and put two quarts of gas in it, now he drove to work witch was about 20 miles, the car should have got about 12 miles per gallon, He's now getting some where around 32 miles per gallon, And this guy is bragging all over the bar about the deal he got, and about the special carburator ( secret ) that it was.
We kept this up for about two weeks and let it DROP........ No more gas....He never said another word, we heard he went back to the dealer and raised PARTICULAR hell, that this car would drop such milelage, and demanded a full refund. And the dealer had to have him removed from the premises by proper authorities.
To this day he will STILL get you a better deal.... Some will never learn !
I think he is selling Vettes' in another state, WATCH - OUT......

Sick joke, why waste good gas on this guy, should have been siphoning each night.
The extra gas would have paid for the trouble.

In the late seventies, I had a customer that I'll call "Whiner Wayne". He had a new F-150 and his wife drove a real nice '70 Torino. She was a sweetheart that took real good care of her car, always brought it in for regulatr tuneups and such. Without fail, he would bring it back a week or two later and complain that the mileage had dropped from 20 to 12 MPG! We would check everything, find nothing, and he would return a few days later and say that we had fixed it :mad . Anyway, the last time this happened, we actually sucked out a couple of gallons after the tuneup! When he brought it back right on schedule, we put 3 gallons back in :D . He never bothered us again....
