Horn fix for 76!
Guys, The horn on my recently purchased 76 with T/T steering wheel wasn't working. Pulled the horn pad off, looked inside and found what appears to be the contact pin? ( about 1" long with a small head on it) a spring and a 1/4 inch plastic sleeve laying at the bottom. How does this fit together and go back into the hole?
Also, how do you go past the "30 days" of archives on here?

*Disconnect the horns*:rolleyes:
1. Get a paperclip, straighten it.
2. Spring in hole first.
3. Pin in hole, head first
4. Place sleeve over exposed end of pin
5. Depress pin slightly
6. Using the paperclip, rotate sleeve until the tiny pin on the sleeve catches in the "bayonet" slot in the hole.
7. Carefully reinstall contact plate

Thanks for the help!!! I was wondering about that little pin on the plastic sleeve!!! Will put it together tonight. Let you know how it works!
