1981 Cruise control
I recently installed a 700-R4 in my 81. Since the lock up converter is set up hydraulically, I did not re-use the original electrical harness. Now, my cruise control will not work. Any ideas? I have the feeling the ECM needs a signal back from the old TH-350C to eneable the cruise, but am not sure.

The cruise control is COMPLETELY independent of the CCC. My computer is completely unplugged and the cruise control works fine. Did you make sure to put the speedo cables in to your cc transducer correctly?

Check your connections to the transducer, some may have gotten disconnected. If the connections work fine and it still doesn't work, you could be out a $75 - $100 transducer. If it kinda works but doesn't hold the speed, the servo is probably leaking.
