Default Low fuel Cicuit Board

I have never seen a low fuel indication on my 78 vette. I have had the cluster out a few times and there is a cicuit board on the fuel gauge. The gauge works. Is it possible the circuit board is bad and is there a test for the board. What does the board read, the amperage or volts or resistance from the fuel tank sender?

Any ideas - Thanks

Yeah, I'd like to know how that functions also. This must be a tough one for I did not get a reply once before when I posted this question. Mine acts up from time to tome giving me a false signal/light. Once my tank does get fairly low, it comes on. But then after I fill the tank, it seems to have to work its way off sometimes. Just a bit sensitive, especially after I installed a new printed circuit board. :smash:
