Doing a T56 conversion the hard way
Some info for you guys wanting to convert....I did this way before the aftermarket had their kits out but if you are wanting to do this yourself here you go. Back then there was no info on this so I had to figure it out. Between centerforce techs and some tips from Mark Stielow I got 'er done.
I would recommend Keislers retrofit kit so you can use your clutch linkage, housing, etc...Clutch hydraulics can be an issue if they arent perfectly set up.
It will fit you guys' SBC's though.
This one is going back in my A body but no reason you couldnt do it to your C3s. 6 speeds are the way to go...4.11s, big solid cams AND mileage!!
