I am planning to sell the small block engine that came in my "69, as I have replaced it with a more original 427. I cannot find the application of this non original small block engine. the cylinder head part number is 3917291 which i believe is for a "68 327 - 350 HP. it also has F 15 7 casted in. I don't think the block matches though. Its casted in number is 3903352 with a number punched on the area in front of the head 72150425 and K06 23 KL. The water pump number is 3838175. any help appreciated

Mortec says the heads are 64cc camel humps without acc holes so looks like the complete correct engine. The NCRS book says that the block casting number is a possibility for a late build 67 Vette but don't know if that position is still accurate. Seems like a good engine for a restoration, good luck getting more info.
This means that the engine was assembled on June 23rd at the McKinnon Industries engine plant in St. Catherines Ontario Canada. If the block casting date is F 15 7, that translates to June 15th 1967. The orignal car had '72150425' in it's VIN.
