Carpet Rubber Pushdowns
I am getting new carpet for x-mas. Very exited about it. I got the pre-molded carpet from Mid-America... http://www.madvet.com/shop?frame=4.51.1547
I believe the only other thing I need other than the carpet set is the rubber push downs. I see what seems to be them on ZIP

Can someone confirn that those are the right pushdowns?
I've been told on this forum that I don't need glue, and it appears that the carpet in the car currently does not have glue holding it down.
Some say I should use a heat gun to help... is it really nessasary?

Yep, those look like the ones. I smeared a bit of grease on the tips before pushing them in. Couldn't push them all the way through from the inside so I had to "pull" them the rest of the way from the firewall with needle nose pliers.
Some glue in strategic locations on the carpet is a good idea.
