1980 Restoration Complete!
Guys,
I've finished the restoration of my 1980 Corvette. Well.... it will never be totally finished. There are a few small things I need to do. However, I wanted to thank the many members of this forum that have helped me over the 2.5 years it took to complete this restoration. Special thanks to Gary Kropat (corvetteforum member) and his team at "AustinCorvette" in Austin, Texas. They did a ton of body work and finished off with a very nice paint job. I continue to add photos to my website so take a look when you have time.

You should be proud! I love the difference between the before and after shots. And the interior looks amazing. Great job!

Not sure what you mean by "blue thing". Which photo are you referring to?

Excellent restoration. It is great to see so many C3's being given the proper rebirth they deserve.

Looks great! Can you do my 80 now too!?!?!
I love that red color.
I do have a question though, it looks like you did do a few minor cosmetic (non OEM) changes on the engine. I'm curious as to why you kept the original exhaust system & small catalytics. And some of the suspension things like the rear leaf spring. (Why not true dual exhaust &/or mono spring etc)?
Thanks & nice job!
