L82 engine

Hello Vette friends! Since 3 years I have my 1979 car with L82 under the hood. It took me some 2 years to restore the Vette and I am proud of her. As a Dutch member since last week of this great site I have several guestions. One is: Which engine pieces make the difference with the standard L48 engine? Furthermore which main other subjects and settings give their contribution to the better performance? In literature I only found out that compression ratio is 8.9 instead of 8.2.

The primary parts for the better power of L-82 are performance cam & heads w/ larger valves & higher compression pistons.

Does the L82 have a forged crank or other forged parts?

Intake is aluminum as well.
Forged pistons, larger valves and different heads/cam as mentioned above.
