I am re building the rear undercarriage on my 76. I discovered that I need to replace the trailing arms. The arms with the rubber stock bushings are cheaper than the Poly bushings.
Is the extra expense a big benefit to use the Poly's......I dont do any racing or auto-x stuff. But sometimes I kick it up a bit on the straight segments of a road and some curves......
The car never sits outside for any rubber decay........
I despise rubber bushings...everything in my suspension is going to be poly except for the T/A bushings...those are going to be solid steel spherical bearings.
