diff bearing pullers and flaring kits - your thoughts
i am needing to replace my double lap flaring kit as it has served its time well, and is ready to retire. now, all i have to do is decide what to replace it with....
also, i am sick and tired of pulling off pinion and side bearings with the old puller i have. makes my back hurt just thinking about it. its just an old OTC bearing separator with a pulling bar. i remember when i bought it, it was the most awesome thing i had ever lad eyes on. well, at least after a few years of man handling them off i was easily impressed. it does work well...but there is better... now... i am goin to purchase one of the "new fangeled" pullers. like the Yukon model the Randy's ring and pinion offers. Mac made one like it years ago, but, i have never ran into one for sale. but other than that, those are the only 2 models i know of. anyone in here have one, that they would like to brag about .... or cuss? i just thought i would check around before pulling the trigger.
any thoughts or opinions?
