Default Oxygen Sensor installation location

Any suggestions on the best location for an O2 sensor? Perhaps I should just one in each header collector? All ideas welcome.

How do you take reading and use them on an older C-3 without computers?

You could use one of these babies:

or even use a voltmeter. Check out this site: http://www.bob2000.com/carb.htm

I'd love to install 2 sensors and a dual air/fuel gauge on my car...

Take a look at the site below. A friend of mine asked me to tune his MGB carbs and I told him I wouldn't touch them unless he bought an air/fuel ratio monitor. He bought the one below and it has been a blast tweaking his carbs. You see results from mixture adjustments and get a good feel for what's happening.
