Default jig/splice update

Well, After alot of thinking I split the splice to see what was going on. On a previous post I had the pass. splice not sitting flat against the side rail. Here is what I found. A small jack dent or ?? was driving the splice to go in crooked. Took it apart and bent up the bottom slightly. Now fits good. I actually have it back together and the front frame 1/2 roughed in. Thanks for all the feedback on previous post. Will load up some more pics today.

My only advice would be to get some quality clamps, some welding vise grips or c clamps, those tweezers you have there won't be able to clamp the metal together tightly, the tighter the better.

TT,
Got plenty of clamps. Just holding it there for the photo. Thanks
