L88 Hood
Anyone have pictures of an genuine GM L88 hood? I'm looking at the inside of one that I have here that was supposed to be original but that was a few years back and the guy is gone. It appears to have been glass repaired in one spot and there looks to be a seam around the inner area. It does have the box installed.

Only thing I remember about the original L88 hoods was the Rockwell International sticker underneath and that the open section at the rear had a metal Z-brace riveted in for extra support. Don't know if the sticker was on assembly line hoods or just over the counter models.

Thank you Frank. Would you be able to email me some pictures? The hood I have is supposed to be original but I do see some glass work was done to it in the nose area. It looks like yours has the same "seam" where the scoope was bonded on?
Maybe you can take a look at what I have here and compare it to yours? Keep in mind this has years of dirt on it too!!LOL
