I went to their home page and ran the search tool (for a '70) which pulled up 3 potentials: a red top 720 CCA, a yellow top 750 CCA, and a red top 800 CCA. Their product literature makes me want a yellow top series, but I would like to have a few more CCAs if available. Once upon a time I could have sworn I saw a 910 CCA yellow top...maybe it's too big for the battery compartment.
Any complaints if you any to report too would be nice.
I would like to switch to an Optima as well. Does anybody know which one will work with the factory hold-down bracket? It's on the side at the bottom in my 74.
I would go with the Red Top as the Yellow is a deep cycle designed for marine application. Also, the Red has a better warranty which is 3 yr. free replacement followed by a prorate vs. a 2 year free replacement with the Yellow. A note of interest is that these suckers are really going up in price. Advance used to get $109 for the Red a year or so ago. The price now is $148.

My red top fits the mount perfectly as most replacement batteries are made to fit stock locations and the bottom clamp is very common.
