Default Wiring questions

I've got my motor out and while I'm waiting for the crate I'd like to clean up the wiring a bit. There's a lot of splices and ugly stuff in general. Is there such a thing as a kit that goes from the firewall forward? A buddy said he has once seen a kit with all the wires labelled. I don't know much about wiring and the idea of replacing it scares me but I want to do it right and have it look good. Is there a kit out there that makes it easy for a dummy like me? Everything I've found so far doesn't look easy.

As a follow up to the previous response. Lectric Limited has both under hood harness you need (3 if you have AC). You need

1. Engine harness
2. Forward lamp harness
3. AC harness (if AC is installed)

I have just received these for my 69, as some one really hacked my cars wiring system and will be installing them soon. I have gotten some good advice from this forum (see my previous thread) so I will be jumping in with both feet, so to speak. I am certainly impressed with the quality, look and feel of the harnesses I recieved from Lectric Limited
