Default New Here

Hi guys, I'm Corey from Connecticut. i have a 69 Coupe that takes up all my time and money (which is probably the main reason I'm single). I'm a youngin at the tender age of 18 years old, but i was raised the right way. My Vette has a 327 with who knows what for hp, the trusty th400. and a posi rear.

before i got a chance to take the car to the track on the new motor, i struck a deer in july so I'm kinda screwed. I dont wanna get off on a dennis miller type rant here so I'll just leave it at that. hope to know a lot of you soon, and maybe cruise with some of the connecticut vette guys.

ahh yes...another kid with a vette. And people say the kids only want ricers. yuck.

Im also 18. I have a '77 that takes up my time and money, but thankfully Im not single...well i am, "technically", but I think that will change soon. I found someone who will buy ME dinner :lol: . SO my money can continue to go into the vette. :yesnod: My car is in the shop right now being painted finally. Then the interior will get the care it deserves. And finally, the car will get its HP needs. I figured I would do add-ons after I got the car back into shap. It had been neglected for a good 6-7 years before I got it.

Anyway Im rambling;
Welcome to the "pond". Soon you'll find yourself here 2-3 times a day, and for an hour or two at a time. If you ever run into a problem, someone here can help I am sure.

Daniel

Are you sure it's not a 350? 69's were 350's ya know. It's either a 300 horse (base), or a 350 horse (L-46). At least you picked the good year. :D

At least it's only front end damage...looks like it's fixable. Was the frame OK?

frame's fine, just tweaked the bumper brackets. radiator's ok, the vaccum canister nailed the condencer for my a/c, but that was disconnected anyway. total list of damage was 8400 bucks

i dont know if i wanna keep it white, i was thinkin black, but thats hard to keep clean (yes i know whats involved in getting a vette black). maybe i could do something with a pearl or a nice metallic white.
