Default EGR Vacuum Control Switch

I am installing an edelbrock 2101 intake manifold. I got rid of the AIR smog equipment and the EGR.

Do I need the purple top EGR vacuum control switch anymore?

No, I'm going through the same process now. You can leave the switch or remove it and replace with a pipe plug.

What did you do with the EFE TVS (green connector in top of thermostat)? Do I need to keep that?

I don't have the heater core hooked up anymore either and there is a heater hose that runs from the passeneger side of the intake to the water pump.

I didn't have the EFE to begin with, I have a plug where you're talking about. I'm familiar with the hose to the heater core and water pump, but not sure why you'd disconnect that, heater core bad?
