72 Steering box seal replacement
Subject: 72 steering box seal(s) leaking. Car is a L48 with PS.
I am assuming that the lower output shaft seal is leaking. Can anyone shared their experiences and success replacing the seal?? Can the seal be replaced with the steering box still in the car or does it need to be removed from the car to get good access to the seal??

I replaced mine off the car. Bought a rebuild kit from Van Steel. Simple rebuild, just make sure you follow the manual for adjustment.
