Have 71 survivor and just took seats out. The driver side does not fold down and the foam inside is disintegrating on both. I do not think I will attempt to recover myself. Anyone know of a good shop in the Albany, NY area?

You can order them online with foam installed, ready to go. They just pop in the buckets.

I am going through this right now with my 70. All the NCRS guys say send them to Al Knock or bring them to a show where Al Knock is attending and have them do it for you. They will come out perfect and they have all the tools. It is also my understanding that only the Al Knock covers and foam are correct.

I'm going to do this very thing in 2 weeks at the NCRS show in Florida on a pair of 77 red leather seats. I can take some before and after pics if you like.

I was fortunate enough to have Al Knoch do my new seatcovers at Bloomington Gold last summer. While I might have been able to do this, it wouldn't have looked as good and would have taken 10 times longer. If there is a show near you (maybe Carlisle this coming summer?), I suggest contacting Knoch and getting on his schedule. Alternately, and depending on the shipping cost, you could send the seats to him for the work. Good luck!
