Thrush sidepipe question
I have a question about the old Thrush sidepipes - what diameter were the replaceable mufflers inside the housings? I saw a picture on eBay of a set that had been dismantled, and judging by the diameter of the inlet/outlet pipes, the mufflers look to be in the 3"-4" range. I like the look of the Thrush housings, I was thinking that I could install some tubing in there with the spiral sidepipe mufflers.
I know some of you guys are old-school hotrodders, so one of you has to have messed with these things at some point.

I will have to measure them. Will post later. The muffler body is 32 inches long 3 inch dia.

These are not the Thrush aluminum bodied side pipes. They are the Thrush chrome units. I am guessing that they would be the same
