Potential Issue?
During some repairs on my vette I came across this.
It seem that one of mounting flanges has broken off of the belhouse.
You can see the in side of the belhouse.
How serious is this?

It looks like it just holds on the dust cover, correct?

Cosidering where you are, and how minor this is, I would not lose sleep over it. It will rattle, and you could leave it off without too much harm.

Doesn't look like a problem. Maybe drill a small hole and zip-tie it(bubba?). I have 2 bottom bolts on my manual trans inspection cover that I can't get to because of the big oil pan, I just used wire ties!

Build it up with a little JB weld, drill, tap it and call it a day!

That's one of a cast of thousands. Those #10 screws have popped the corners off of more bellhousings---
Really not an issue, other than the tin may rattle. If you can see a spot, drill another hole thru the tin and into the trans, put another screw in it and drive on.
Yes, the flexplate/flywheel and convertor is in there. I know guys that have ran many years without any cover at all.
