Wiring Gremlin
It started off that my power windows quit working. Then my batery went down so I charged it and it went down again. Charged it again windows started working all the time even with the key off. I felt like the window relay was the coulprit. So I bought a window relay from Zip and installed it. The battery doesn't go down now but no power windows. I replaced the fuse, verified power to the relay one always on and one on with the key in the on position still nothing so I made a jumper and went from the connection thats always on to the wire for the swicht and it worked turned the key on and connectec the jumper to the wire thats hot with the swicht on and it worked. I believe the new relay must be bad but I wanted to make sure before contacting Zip does anyone know of something I may have overlooked. Thanks in advance for any help.

I'd say you're on the right track by replacing the relay. Odd though that at one point the windows would work with the key off. Wondering if it was something to do with the circuit breaker.
