What is the standard deck height on a 350?
Machine shop is telling me that deck height is 9.010 after clean up cuts.
How does the deck height affect the engine, compression, etc??

Standard deck height is 9.025" - you''l have slightly higher compression, might want to look into different head gasket manufacturers, Small block head gasket thickness can be between .030" and .050", I think FelPro is .041".
Do you need to lower the compression to use pump gas ? What engine is this ? What pistons, heads and compression ??
