i have a friend selling world heads, he has a 406 he drilled the heads for steam holes, my question is can i run these on a 350? due to the steam holes what would i need to do? thanks.

That seems like a lot of flow for a 350 if these heads have the same specs as my sportsman 2's. It all depends on what you are doing with the motor. The steam holes shouldnt' matter, the 350 block doesn't have them so they would just be blocked off. However, if the price is right it can't hurt to get them.
I have the sportsman IIs on my dd truck 355ci. If they've been drilled for steam holes for a 400 block, a machine shop should be able to plug them for you.
you don't have to plug the steam holes. the 350 head gasket blocks them off

The 350 gasket should block off the holes. Also, it is my understanding that World and Dart were once the same until they split. However before you buy, do you know the size of the compression chamber and intake runner? What are you planning on using these heads with?
