Default Will 1" Carb spacer fit

I want to buy a 1" carb spacer for my QJet on an Edelbrock Performer with the stock air cleaner assembly in place. Stock hood. Will this fit? I have also heard good things about low-end torque/throttle response with the 4 hole design - any testimonials?

I ran a 1" spacer on a performer with a 4150 and the stock air cleaner...it fit under my stock hood. I think the Qjet is the same height, so should work.

Will not fit. Will not necessarily help either- think of a spacer as a tuning. You could get over 1/4" insulator that will fit. Mr. Gasket has a spacer w/ plates that allows different heights.

Hmm...maybe mine was 1/4", but I thought it was 1/2" and I didnt have an issue with the Holley.
