Well I did dumb thing. When I was taking my fan shroud out, I disconnected the upper and lower radiator hoses. I removed all the bolts holding to radiator support to the car, as I figured I would move the radiator support and radiator foward as one piece to make enough room to get the shroud out. So when I pulled the radiator foward I felt a snap..... I forgot to disconnect the hose that goes directly to the expansion tank. I snapped the hose fitting clean off the radiator.
What should I do now? Get a new radiator? Or can the piece be put back on?
Anyway... Moving the radiator and radiator mount foward in one piece what pretty easy and gave me just enough room to get the shroud out.

While its there have them clean it out and check for leaks at the same time and normally they will do the overflow tank spout repair for free. plus its as good of a time to do it.

I had a small crack in my lower hose connector. pulled the radiator took it to a small rad shop and he fixed it, pressure tested it for further leaks, and then cleaned it up. pretty cheap too. If your vents aren't in bad shape and all bent up, that's the route I'd go.

Sounds like you have the factory aluminum radiator for 1969, which uses the aluminum expansion tank. If so, the radiator would look like this
The above radiator (3155316) is all aluminum and the number would be stamped into the top plate. The tube (top right) is also aluminum and unless the rad shop nows how to do aluminum tig, I wouldn't let them try to fix it. Find someone that's good at aluminum welding and put the tube back on. If you need a new tube you could get one from me.
If the radiator was replace over time with a copper replacement radiator, then anyone can solder it back on. There are several ways to tell if it is a replacement c/b unit. The most obvious is the original one did not have end tanks. The aluminum radiator weighs about 14# and a c/b is about twice that. The part number would be missing and you could sand off some paint and see if it's silver color or gold.
