Is there a location for option codes on C3's besides tank sticker? Thanks.

No, I believe that is the only thing on the car and a lot don't have that.

Some of the options can be gleaned from the protecto plate (POP) although they are not listed in RPO format. The trim tag inside the drivers side door will tell you the original paint color and interior, and for 1972 and later the vin will tell you the original engine.

On the back panel behind the seats, under the carpet on the drivers side the builders wrote in wax pencil the codes or initials for the codes. This is from the center (just behind handbrake console and towrds the right (behind the drivers seat). Mine says 70.....PW....N-14 which was odd as the car is a 69 built in November (long story they ran the 69 production over that year due to a strike). PW was power windows and the N-14 was the option code for side exaust. Not a highly optioned car but the 427 four speed makes it ok by me.
