I used a place in El Paso. Lifetime warranty on discoloring or flaking.

I think I paid $700 for front and rear. They filled in some holes on the back bumpers where the original owner had mounted a trailer hitch.

It took them about a month or two to get it done. They do a lot of work - walk-in and mail.

I used AC Plating in Bakersfield CA. Cost me $300 for the rears (took 2 weeks). They look great. I believe they have differenct quality levels, so better call and tell them you want NCRS quality.

After you have your rear bumpers re-chrome plated (or the front), hold the bumper up to eye level and horizontal to sunlight. Is the bumper wavy?? I think many(just about all) of the re-chromers hire unskilled minimum wage people to grind and polish the bumpers. If one of these guys thinks there's a little blemish on the original bumper, he'll just make a deep grind to get rid of it. The result is that your bumper is just going to look wavy.

I've been trying to buy rear bumpers on ebay. So far, all the rechromed ones are just terrible, because they've been aggressively ground out of shape. I've since bought some unrestored bumpers and I think they may be ok (although they are in various conditions of corrosion/appearance.)

A few months ago, someone had some NOS C3 rear bumpers for sale on Ebay. A few days before bidding ended they were at $750. Don't know what they finished at.

........bottom line. Used, replated bumpers would be just really fine if the replaters hired some skilled workers. It'd add only a few bucks to the price of the bumper.
