Default Drive shaft Balanced?

I think screwed myself. I removed my drive shaft to install new u-joints and forgot to mark locations on the yokes. Will I have to have the drive shaft assembly balanced? If it needs to be balanced; can anyone suggest a shop in the Atlanta area? It is for '71 270hp/auto.

Thanks

OEM driveshafts are balanced so position should not be critical. To confirm, check if there are little square weights welded to the tube.

It has the weights welded to drive shaft. I guess It will be OK then.

Typically the driveshaft & the tranny yoke are balanced as one unit. Then placement is not an issue. If you still have it out I'd have it rebalanced.
