Ignition, Blown Fuse?, Electrical Help

, POW! when I hit the ignition switch
, sounded like it came from behind the passenger side seat but not certain. Thinking the ground came from the starter or alternator wires going to ground, (these are really the only wires exposed during this. The fuel injection / sensor wires are all enclosed in connectors ) I did not turn key to point of trying to start engine.I have NO power anywhere. Battery checked good. All wires now reconnected so fear of ground should be OK. I can switch on battery and not blow anything, yet there is no power showing up anywhere beyond battery connections. (Of course I do not know where to check on all of those modules in rear compartments) (1 Plastic, 1 larger metal encased, 1 smaller metal encased)
Is there a main fuse in rear? Ignition switch / fuse that would kill all power?
This is on the '82.
Thanks for anyhelp. Got up at 4:00 prior work to chase IT down, IT won, I give up.

Thanks,
I thought of one more thing. After I just read "DO NOT connect battery with key in on position", Yep, when I engaged the knife blade on my disconnect to battery, the key was on, did I fry my ECM? Would that kill ALL power?
