Default 73-74 Air Cleaner Flange Ring

Does anyone know how to visually identify the small block and big block flanges? The small block part number is #330525 and the BB part number is #330527.

The SB ring is symmetrical. The BB ring is offset since the carb is about an inch further toward the front of the car. Being offset will ensure the seal meets the hood correctly and the cowl induction will work as intended.

Or in other words, the big opening in the BB ring is off-center. The big hole in the SB ring is right in the middle.

The BB flanges are tough to come by,..and pricey when you do. The rest of the air-cleaner components (base and lid) are the same.

thanks, I wasn't sure if the offset was the only difference.
