Default RTV Blue or Red
For the ends of the intake manifold, which sealant?? Would it matter? Manufactures reccomended Black. Others say Blue. Which one is best?
It is for a 383 mostly street driven. Alum heads and manifold, steel block.

Either one will work fine, I used the blue stuff on mine and no problems.

The gray rtv from gm is the best I have used and you don't get that ammonia/vinegar smell.

i like to use the red because if you get any on the block it blends in the the orange paint
