2 years ago I replaced all 4 calipers with Autozone specials. Needless to say, two are now leaking.
I am not sure if I should pay $130 each for O-ring calipers from VBP, $79.00 for their standard or $65.00 for Muskegeon's standards with free organic pads.
Anyone have any strong feelings about these choices. I want good quality calipers that will last awhile. I think I am becoming addicted to brake fluid!!
I bought a set of stainless steel sleeved calipers (AC Delco) from Zip last year. I haven't read the fine print, but they did come with a "limited lifetime warranty". Still, if they leak anytime in the next 20 years I'll be really annoyed :cuss
Your Autozone calipers have a lifetime warranty. Take them off and return them for new ones Those calipers are stainless sleeved and should be equivalent to the sleeved calipers from the other mail order sources.
