Good Question..I dont have a definitive answer for vortecs as I opted for conventional heads with my Hooker side mounts. But I still Had to research and make a decision because the heads were D-ports and also slightly raised ect. That said, In General Im convinced most headers will fit any new, non radical (race modified) head types . Meaning they will mount to the head, But may not exactly match the Gasket and flange's shape. Use a real good copper or aluminum gasket (wont blow out easily). Vendors have told me there is little or no loss of power for any of the more mild 300-400hp range engines. I think, So long as all the other components Carb and timming are tuned correctly you wouldnt know the difference with non matched header flange to exhaust port size or shape.
