Default electric choke
When installing a electric choke i assume yoy cap off the vacuumn on the carb and remove the choke pulloff . Am i correct

Nope, I believe you still need the pulloff.

leave the pulloff alone. what vacuum are you talking about???

If I am not mistaken, you still run the vaccum from the distributor to the carb.

Hopefully he is talking about the vacuum that pulls the hot air from the intake (choke heat inlet). It's better to plug the plastic tube seal that is under the choke housing. This is because to install the electric choke, the choke cover/coil gasket has to be removed and you may get small vacuum leaks there.
Don't disconnect the pull off.
