Buy them all!!! parts alone are worth the money.

If not all of them atleast the 1973...$2000 to start on a complete vette...wow...

Selling for parts I can see. Time=money. By the time you dump $25K plus you could have bought one outright and be driving down the road versus stuck in the garage wrenching for 4 plus years.

I'd be all over it like stink on.........well, you get the idea. The paint being stripped by a razor blade doesn't necessarily mean bad. The guy who painted my car showed me how he strips them with a blade. He stripped half a t top in 15 seconds while I spent 2 months in my cold garage last winter stripping my whole car with stripper.

There are a couple things to keep in mind here. First off you say you want to "help her out” I thought that was a comment you made, I know you don't want to get screwed in the mean time, but I have a 75 that's hasn't seen the road in 18 year and it won't take near $10,000.00 (paint job aside) to put it back on the road. Mind you I'm the original owner so I know the history, but if the frame and roll cage is in great shape you can get your money back without even parting it out. If you do a lot of work yourself and you plan on keeping this car then $2,000.00 is a good price for a car that’s in decent shape to start with.

Are you looking at making money off of this transaction, (and there's nothing wrong with that) or are you just “trying to help her out”? Even if your not trying to make money, with sales here and there and $5,000. your further ahead then most that have rotten birdcages, rusted frames to say the least.

That's only my opinion take it for what it's worth.

Buying a vette without paint is the way to go in my opinion.

Paint hides all sorts of sins.

What you've got is a 73 that was stuck in a time capsule 25 years ago. Dust it off and assess what NEEDS to be fixed or free'd up. Shouldn't take much if it went in as a running car.

If the motor and everything else still turns, get her cleaned up and running!
