Default Headers question

Going to put some headers on my '78, and been looking around in some of the suppliers catalogues.
I have seen "cheapies", along w/ some more expensive ones.
Suggestions?
Tips appreciated........... Thanks, Blademaker

The Dynomax ceramic coated from Jeggs are $200.00. Those are the ones I have and are very popular with forum members.
The plain black ones are about $89.00. They are both great headers. Good luck.

Yep, Dynomax Ceramic Coated... Get the Stage 8 locking bolts as well. I had to replace my gaskets because the bolts kept coming loose and the gaskets gave out. One other thing... Make sure you aren't running too lean if you go with ceramic coated. They *WILL* dull if they get too hot. I know I'm running a couple of jets too lean, but I haven't had the chance to change the jets yet.

I put the dynomax headers on my 81 and feel a real power improvement with them. At the $200 from jegs they were a real bargain for the ceramic coated. They also fit with no modifications and were very easy to install.

I have the Dynomax Ceramic Coated too. They fit great and were easy to put in. I would use ARP header bolts with a metal gasket unstead of the paper one that come with them.
