Default Got my new seats

Finally...I got my kirkey ultra light seats...and they fit like a glove...sort of LOL. Not much room left. Getting in and out isn't as easy as it used to be but oh well. It looks good and they sit pretty comfy...that's what matters (to me). I do have a whole lot more head and leg room now.

All I need now is one of these LOL

Was the helmet part of the deal on the seats? Or an add-on?

Getting in and out will be fun. After you climb in, strap in, and realize you left the cell and your wallet inside, you say "forgetaboutit" and drive off. That is why I took the Sparcos out of my Porsche. But your car will be like an F-16 fighter jet, your in untill the mission is over. 9 lbs, wow, I wonder what your car will weigh in the end. Have you estimated? Does anyone know what the 78 and later Pace Car seats weigh? I guess I'll have to take one out and weigh it. I think I have to do that anyways when I bolt in my hydraboost.

Are you going to have to ware the thick fire suite for padding?

My Sparco seat does not have the protection that yours do. But i also have spent the majority of a 24 hour period driving 1600 some miles in one sitting. My seat and 5 point belts does get to me after about 400 miles.

It is a fine balance between safety and comfort. Looking Good.

I think he has covers. He mentioned about ordering them in purple before.

Firesuit? The seat comes with small padded covers (the ultralight version, you can get a full cover also but I don't want that one) same as litevette has in his car.

Long rides (1-2 miles) are going to be painful.
