Step in if you have Stan's Headers
How do you like them? Did you buy the chrome, ceramic, or stainless? Are the primary's big enough for a 396SBC? How was the fit and finish? Do you like the ball & socket style connection, especially compared the standard triangular connector?
It's down to these or Hooker Super Comps. Like I said, I'm building a 396SBC that will live below 6500.

I have them and went with the chrome ones.The mounting flange is very stout and the fit and finish is great.These headers provide good ground clearance.These are tri ys and are made for low end torque.

I have the Stans chrome finish. The fit is perfect, they tuck up tight under the car. Finish looks great out of the box, but has since blued and discolored. Ball and socket connection is sturdy and hasn't leaked yet. I'd buy them again.
